Speaker

Andrew Wood

Mosaic rooms

Andy was called to the bar in 2019 after learning his “trade” in large international accounting firms, including Big 4.

More than a decade ago (2011 to be precise), hoping that part of the magic dust of these entrepreneurial customers had detected him, he established his own tax business business.

Its customers, as well as aforementioned entrepreneurs, also include individuals, athletes and artists and private companies.

After his call, Andy hopes that he can bring his own commercial experience and his strong problem solving skills to advise his clients at the bar.

He passionately believes that all customers should obtain clear and decisive advice that should be delivered in simple English.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (Fellow) and the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (“STEP”).

He is also the author of the book, Cryptocurrency and Other Other Digital Assets: Tax Law and Practice published by Claritax Books. The first of its kind covering the imposition of cryptocurrency in the United Kingdom.

Tax on etc.

The tax etc is a specialized tax consulting company with two specific objectives:

– to make tax advice more accessible and more effective to meet the needs of SMEs, OMBs, entrepreneurs and high net value individuals.

– to help other professional advisers to provide a full service offer to their customers and, finally, to help them improve and develop their practices.

Our tax team is made up of a group of highly experienced approved tax advisers who have a wealth of tax experience, mainly acquired in large 4 and ten accounting companies. We are proud to provide complex tax advice in a commercial and “friendly” manner.
