Non-invasive weight loss treatments | My story and my results
Your questions, answers
Since sharing my story, people have come to me for advice.
Let’s go through some of the most asked questions, gathered from both my personal WhatsApp chats and our DMs on TRB’s Instagram, with guidance from MedExpress.
1. How did you know if a treatment was right for you?
I’ll be honest: At first, I wondered if I was even eligible. I had heard that these types of non-invasive weight loss options might not be suitable for people with certain health conditions, so I initially felt a little lost when it came to getting started.
I’m also naturally a little worried, which is usually feels enlarged after childbirthand I wanted to make sure this treatment would be safe for me.
Using a regulated service like MedExpress and access to their expert consultations helped me feel safe and informed about my options, dosing and planning, before heading out.
MedExpress adds: Once you complete an online consultation, our clinical team reviews your health status and confirms your eligibility. This way you know it’s safe and appropriate for you.
2. What kind of results did you realistically expect and what did you see?
My initial goal was to lose 30-40 pounds total and get to a place where I felt happy with the Eloise I saw in the mirror, along with that very significant improvement in energy and strength!
To help me get there, I started with consistent changes that I could maintain alongside treatment (more on that below).
I’ve seen steady loss, higher energy, and better eating habits along the way, but really the biggest result I’ve noticed is the change in my confidence level.
MedExpress adds: Set small, realistic goals, not only for weight, but also for movement, sleep and energy. Celebrate gains unrelated to the scale, like better sleep or more energy. And remember that weight fluctuates naturally: it’s consistency that counts.
3. Were you worried about side effects and how did you deal with them?
Yes, definitely. There is so much in the media about side effects at the moment, and it’s probably one of the most common questions I get asked!
At first I experienced mild nausea and constipation, which I realized was greatly improved by staying hydrated.
For me, following MedExpress’s advice and making small adjustments to my dosage and water intake where I needed to stay comfortable without slowing my progress.
MedExpress adds: It is normal to notice mild side effects at first as your body adapts. They usually settle in and our clinical team are always there if you need reassurance.
